The ENOL ENSEMBLE is made up of musicians whose interest is to investigate chamber music, exploring various formations, styles and periods with the intention of reaching the public with a wide repertoire that is not always easy to listen to in concert halls. With the piano quartet as the central axis of the ensemble, the Enol Ensemble has appeared in formats from duo to sextet, always depending on the requirements of the repertoire or the place where they perform.
The project was presented at the end of 2017 at the "Evaristo Valle" Museum in Gijón. In February 2018, the Enol Ensemble made its debut at the Oviedo Philharmonic Society with the piano quartets by Brahms and Schumann, obtaining great public and critical success. In May of that same year they performed a concert in the Temple of Debod in Madrid with the Goldberg Variations by Bach in version for string trio, before an audience of almost a thousand people. This program was also represented in Gijón, Sintra (Portugal) and at the Niemeyer Center in Avilés. They closed their first season at the Fundación Vital de Vitoria. In their second season they have performed at the Oviedo Summer Festival, the León Spanish Music Festival, the Jovellanos Theater (Gijón Philharmonic Society), the Monforte de Lemos Philharmonic Society and the Oviedo Philharmonic Theater. In 2020 they offered three concerts within the cultural program of the Princess of Asturias Awards, which later led them to perform exclusively for the Spanish Royal Family, as well as paying tribute to Ennio Morricone within the 2020 Awards Ceremony. The peak moment within that season was the live musicalization of the film "La Carreta Fantasma" (Victor Sjöström, 1921) within the SACO film festival, which was praised by the public and critics. Last year they made a singular bet at CIMCO, Oviedo Interdisciplinary Chamber Music Cycle with a “Schubertiada”, where they invited the public to Schubert's own house, with a characterized actor.
